Since our inception in 2015, California's Riche$t All Girl Breakaway and Team Roping, founded by Danielle Porteur and Jackie Hobbs Crawford, has become a symbol of determination and achievement on the West Coast. This event attracts top-tier ropers from across the country, eager to compete for prestigious rewards.

Over the years, California’s Riche$t has established partnerships with industry giants like Cactus Ropes, Cactus Saddlery, and Charlie1Horse & beyond elevating the competition to new heights. In 2016, we introduced all-girl team roping, adding to the excitement and intensity of the event. By 2023, we shattered records with a remarkable turnout of participants.

The Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) officially recognized breakaway roping in 2019, marking it as the "Year of the Breakaway." California's Riche$t embraced this momentum, providing women ropers with a platform to showcase their skills and compete for significant rewards.

In 2022, we partnered with the Women's Rodeo World Championship (WRWC) to offer cowgirls an exceptional opportunity. Athletes can secure qualification by nominating themselves at California's Richest, granting them entry to the WRWC Finals in Texas. This prestigious event not only offers substantial prize money but also provides an unforgettable experience.

California's Richest is among the few WRWC Qualifier Series events on the West Coast, making it a crucial stepping stone for aspiring participants. Moreover, we are proudly sanctioned by the Women's Professional Rodeo Association (WPRA), and recognized as a Rope For The Crown and American Qualifier. These endorsements reflect our commitment to excellence and leadership in the rodeo arena.

With numerous opportunities available, our alliances are regarded as the finest in the industry, creating more opportunities for women ropers nationwide.
